| One of my good friends from York went through a shitty breakup recently so I made her this.
Her ex just wanted time to "work on his art" which is either inspiring or total bullshit.
Either way, it's not a very *nice* song, but I hope y'alls will get a laugh.
One other thing - the 'escalator' stages in Donkey Kong are notoriously the hardest. If you want to learn more, watch the documentary "King of Kong: a Fistful of Quarters". (s'free on youtube right now).

| THe Obama Nobel thing has honestly got me kinda angry. I talked about it with one of my friends, and he offered "You have to admit, the world has never been more hopeful than it is right now." and "Hey, he's out on the world stage, that guy in China (see my facebook status) isn't."
1.) Obama has more affection going his way than any president in recent history and nowhere near the scorn.
2.) Hope is great, but it's not change. Hope should never replace action. If you promise change, hope is not good enough.

| I have officially rode my new bike one thousand miles since May 16th when i bought it.
The best part was easily Maine, but I feel pretty damned victorious knowing that I reached my mark by riding up and down a mountain. twice. in the desert.
I'm thinking of going to Kinkos and printing out a nice personalized greeting card to send to my endocrinologist. Something like
Some violets look a bit blue, and most roses certainly red, don't tell me what I can or can't do ever, ever again.

| Agh, facepalming.
On the one hand, some republicans brought signs and shouted out mocking jeers. Then on the other hand, the amount of applause throughout the speech was out of line. Honestly, if you support something, that's great, but standing ovations for everything you agree with is a little absurd.
There's a clip in the newest Auto-Tune The News in which there is a chart. A chart with a dragon. That was not photoshopped in. Although, that did provide one of the better lines of the video ("...he has a chart... a dragon chart!").
It's just... I had hoped that our Congress was functioning on a higher level than middle school.
Welp, I'm off to go make a pinata that will stay empty and be part of a festival that starts on september 11th. Oh, there's no connection, Las Cruces is just the kind of place that decides to start a mariachi festival on September 11th.
....agh.
PS - The next person that asks me my birthday with the purpose of determining how to have a conversation with me is getting a faceful of Hume.
